About PDFBasic

Making PDF tools free, fast, and accessible for everyone.

Our Mission

PDFBasic was built with a simple belief: essential PDF tools should be free for everyone. Too many people struggle with expensive software subscriptions just to compress a PDF or convert a document. We created PDFBasic to eliminate that barrier. Our platform offers 25+ professional-grade PDF tools that run directly in your browser — no downloads, no accounts, no hidden fees. Every file is processed with 256-bit AES encryption and permanently deleted immediately after processing, because your privacy is not optional.

Fast & Browser-Based

All PDF processing happens directly in your browser using modern WebAssembly technology. This means your files never leave your device for most operations, ensuring maximum speed and privacy. No software installation, no plugins — just open your browser and start working with your PDFs instantly.

Available in 6 Languages

PDFBasic is available in English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, and Arabic. We believe language should never be a barrier to accessing essential productivity tools. Our interface, documentation, and support content are all fully localized to serve users in their preferred language.

Privacy-First Architecture

We operate on a zero-knowledge architecture. We cannot see, access, or store your files. All uploads are encrypted with 256-bit AES during transfer and permanently deleted immediately after processing completes. We do not track file contents, and we require no user accounts or personal information to use any of our tools.

Built for Everyone

Whether you are a student compressing lecture notes, a business professional merging contracts, or a designer converting presentations — PDFBasic serves you equally. Our tools handle files up to 50MB with no daily limits, no watermarks, and no feature restrictions. Professional quality should not require a professional budget.

Continuously Improving

We regularly add new tools and improve existing ones based on user feedback. Our development roadmap is driven by what our community actually needs, not by what generates the most revenue. Recent additions include PDF repair, page numbering, PDF flattening, and advanced watermarking capabilities.
