Our Story
PDFBasic launched in early 2024 with a single goal: make PDF tools genuinely free. The project grew from frustration with paywalled tools that charged monthly fees for basic operations. We started with 10 core tools, listened to feedback from thousands of users, and now offer 26+ tools in 6 languages. Every tool, every language, every feature โ free, forever. Files are processed over an encrypted connection and deleted from our servers within five minutes โ we keep no copies and no processing history.
